Cosmetic dentist Dr. Scholl was raised and educated in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Upon graduating from Washington Sr. High School, he attended Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa where
he received his
baccalaureate degree.
An interest in health sciences and community health allowed for graduate studies at the University of Iowa. This pursuit ultimately led to receiving a dental degree from the University of Iowa. Upon graduation, cosmetic dentist Dr. Scholl practiced in Des Moines with several general practices and also served the needs of residential care populations.
An opportunity presented itself which led to joining Dental Touch Associates and their unique vision. Realization of this shared vision has, to a large degree, been possible through the educational experiences provided by the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). Compassion for this wholesome profession has been greatly enhanced through participation in the LVI curriculum.
Dr. Scholl's personal interests include winter skiing, sailing, bicycling, backpacking and other outdoor activities. Spending time with family and friends has always been integral to his upbringing and lifestyle.
Coming back to practice on 'home turf' has been delightful and the association with Dental Touch's totally capable team is truly inspirational. |
